In September 2023, Apple released updates for three of its gadgets at once. Yes, the iOS and iPadOS 17 update was released on September 18, and MacOS Sonoma was released on September 26. The updated MacOS Sonoma 14.0 software offers its users a selection of new screensavers. Interactive desktop widgets have also appeared. Widgets can host a Smart Stack, display reminders and a calendar, your friends’ shared locations, and your favorite photos.

In the latest update, Apple improved video conferencing features. FaceTime reactions
Apple has changed the way FaceTime integrates with the menu bar. Video effects options no longer appear in Control Center, but instead have a new location in a dedicated green FaceTime menu bar item, which also features a mini-webcam look and a button to trigger reactions.
Reactions include Love, Like, Dislike, Balloons, Rain, Confetti, Lasers, and Fireworks. Some reactions are even triggered automatically by the user’s physical actions: one thumbs up is a like, and two thumbs up is accompanied by fireworks. Likewise, one thumbs down counts as a dislike. Many positive reviews gathered new possibilities for working with PDF documents. What has changed here? When dragging a document in Notes, it is now displayed in full width, which makes it easier to work with. What’s more, now you can open all PDF-document pages in Notes.

The current version of iOS 17 is iOS 17.0.3, an update that resolved the overheating issue on the iPhone 15 models. According to Apple, there was a bug in iOS 17 that caused the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max to run higher than they should, and this bug was fixed in this update. iOS 17.0.3 also includes fixes for security vulnerabilities and is available for all devices running iOS 17.
